The meaning of yesterday and tomorrow.

As a child grows, they slowly develop the concept of time. At age 3, time has the following components for Thomas: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. Yesterday is anything he has done prior to Today and Tomorrow is the future. For example:

"Last night Daddy and I went to the fire station and we saw the fire engines."

Yes we did go to the NSW Fire Brigade Open Day, but it was many months ago.

Or this morning he said "I am going on a plane tomorrow. Will Granddad and Grandma pick me up". We had told him that we would be flying to visit his grandparents in December.

My Son

My son and only child Thomas, was born just on 3 years ago. At the time of his birth I was 43 years old, so sometimes I feel more like his grandfather than his father. But most of the time he brings amazing joy to my life.
