At age 3, time has the following components for Thomas: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. Yesterday is anything he has done prior to Today and Tomorrow is the future. For example:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Last night Daddy and I went to the fire station and we saw the fire engines."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yes we did go to the NSW Fire Brigade Open Day, but it was many months ago.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Or this morning he said "I am going on a plane tomorrow. Will Granddad and Grandma pick me up". At the time of his birth I was 43 years old, so sometimes I feel more like his grandfather than his father.
